• Lex Favios attorneys represented Trina Solar Third PTE in Singapore – part of the global leading provider for photovoltaic (PV) module and smart energy solutions – in the sale of its equity in Bright solar Renewable Energy Private Limited to Mahindra Renewables Private Limited. The deal value was 1.5 million USD.

 

  • Assisting Kline Technical Consulting LLC and KTC Fortess Pvt. Ltd. with respect to technology tie up and equipment’s with Punj Lloyd., negotiating agreement, documenting, review of tender documents with respect to technology tie and equipment tie up. Punj Llyod Ltd. is the first private sector company in India to install these X-Ray based FBTS at the country’s border which helps detect concealed arms, ammunition, explosives, detonators, IED’s, Narcotics and fake currency. In this regard, Punj Lloyd has won a prestigious order worth Rs 120 crore for the supply and commission of five Full Body Truck Scanners (FBTS) from the Ministry of Home Affairs and the technology partner is KTC Fortess Pvt. Ltd. Kline Technical Consulting LLC.

 

  • Acted as legal counsels to Husk Power Systems Inc. Mauritius and Husk Power systems Pvt. Ltd., with respect to incorporation of entity (ies) in Mauritius and India, structuring transaction, and advice on setting up operations in India, review of key contracts. Husk Power is engaged in the business of alternate energy and has installed 84 mini-power plants across the state of Bihar.

 

  • Acted as legal counsels to Govt of India consortium led by SAIL, Jindal Steel, JSW Steel with respect to Hajigak Iron Ore Deposits located in the mountains Bamiyan province about 130 km west of Kabul. Advising the consortium in setting up SPV in Kabul, review of consortium agreement, drafting of joint venture and joint operations agreement between the parties.
